art’otel London Battersea Power Station zal het eerste hotel in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Europa worden dat de zeer gewilde Repair-Me-collectie van KEVIN.MURPHY in de badkamer van al zijn kamers zal aanbieden. Deze collectie – uiteraard zonder sulfaten en parabenen – bestaat uit Wash (shampoo), Rinse (conditioner), Body Wash, Body Lotion en Triple Milled Soap, met weldadige aroma’s van bloemen, mandarijn en een vleugje groen.
De door kunst geïnspireerde Hotel Collection is KEVIN.MURPHY’s eerste hotelpartnerschap: een lijn bestaande uit 30ml-flacons gemaakt van gerecyclede materialen. De flacons zijn gemaakt van plastic afval dat anders in de zee terecht zou zijn gekomen – een mooi initiatief om het leven in de wereldzeeën te beschermen.
Het later dit jaar te openen art’otel bevindt zich in Battersea Roof Gardens, een nieuw gebouw ontworpen door Foster + Partners en onderdeel van de nieuwe Electric Boulevard: een verzameling gebouwen met woningen, kantoren en een nieuwe voetgangersstraat ten zuiden van de iconische krachtcentrale. De 164 kamers van het hotel zijn ontworpen en ingericht door onze signature artist en interieurdesigner Jaime Hayon. Het hotel biedt ook onderdak aan JOIA: een nieuw skylinerestaurant voor destination dining, rooftop bar & pool, fitnessruimte, spa, eventruimtes, grand café en kunstgalerie. De bouw van het hotel vordert gestaag – kamers, bar en restaurant worden op dit moment ingericht.

Over Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power Station is een van de grootste en meest ambitieuze ontwikkelingsprojecten in Londen – een project waar men jarenlang reikhalzend naar heeft uitgekeken. Doel van het revitaliseringsproject is een levendige, gevarieerde gemeenschap van woningen, winkels, restaurants, kantoren en culturele en vrijetijdslocaties, en 7,5 hectare aan openbare ruimte – ontsloten door de London Underground Northern Line.
Het project neemt in totaal zo’n 17 hectare in beslag en omvat 325.000 m2 aan kantoorruimte en 4239 nieuwe woningen.
Het heroplevingsproject moet uiteindelijk leiden tot 20.000 nieuwe banen en duurzame loopbaankansen voor lokale bewoners. Een nieuw medisch centrum is ook in aanbouw.
De krachtcentrale met monumentenstatus, nu in de tweede ontwikkelingsfase, zal deze herfst zijn deuren openen voor het grote publiek, met meer dan 100 winkels, restaurants en bars, evenementenzalen, een unieke schoorsteenlift met bovenin een panoramisch uitzicht over Londen, nieuwe kantoren en 254 appartementen. In 2021 hebben de eerste bewoners hun woning betrokken.
Circus West Village, de eerste fase van het revitaliseringsproject, is nu al een bloeiende bestemming aan de oever van de Theems en een thuis voor meer dan 1800 Londenaren. Deze nieuwe wijk, met een eclectische mix van onafhankelijke trendy bars, restaurants, winkels, fitness- en wellnessfaciliteiten, bioscopen en theaters, trekt jaarlijks meer dan drie miljoen bezoekers.
De derde fase van het project omvat Prospect Place en Battersea Roof Gardens, die samen Electric Boulevard vormen: de nieuwste hoofdstraat van Londen. Prospect Place is het eerste woningbouwproject van het wereldberoemde architectenbureau Gehry Partners. Battersea Roof Gardens, dat ontworpen is door Foster + Partners, zal onderdak bieden aan woningen, winkels en vrijetijdslocaties, en een art’otel met 164 kamers – de eerste in de hoofdstad.
Nu het Battersea Power Station-metrostation (aan de Northern Line, Zone 1) net is geopend, is de wijk slechts 15 minuten verwijderd van de West End en de City. De wijk heeft ook een eigen Uber Boat by Thames Clippers-pier en is slechts 15 minuten varen verwijderd van Embankment, 20 minuten van Blackfriars, 30 minuten van Putney en 40 minuten van Canary Wharf. Battersea Power Station is daarnaast goed bereikbaar per bus, fiets, auto en trein.
Het Battersea Power Station-ontwikkelingsproject is eigendom van een consortium van Maleise investeerders, bestaande uit Sime Darby Property (40%), S P Setia (40%) en The Employees’ Provident Fund (20%). De commerciële activa in de krachtcentrale zelf behoren nu toe aan Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) en EPF. De ontwikkeling van het project wordt uitgevoerd door de in Groot-Brittannië gevestigde Battersea Power Station Development Company.

The Best Rates Guarantee does not apply to the following rate types:

- Special “exclusive offers” or “online coupons” or email solicitations not intended for the general public;
- Rates not publicly available, such as negotiated Group or Corporate rates; including group extend-the-stay rates;
- Package rates that include the room and other components such as parking, travel, car rental, entertainment, or meals excluding breakfast;
- Rates found on opaque, bidding, or auction sites where the hotel brand, the specific hotel, the hotel location or price is not known until booking is finalized. Examples of these types of sites include but are not limited to Priceline and Hotwire;
- Any other unpublished or private rates or sites requiring login.
Comparison Rates
Comparison Rates: The Comparison Rate must be found on a website available to be booked by the general public other than Radissonhotels.com within 24 hours of booking your hotel room on Radissonhotels.com and at least 48 hours prior to midnight hotel local time of your arrival date.
The Comparison Rate must be for the same hotel, same reservation date(s), same room type (i.e. room size and amenities), same number of guests, same currency as the Radissonhotels.com confirmation email, and the same advance payment and refund policies and restrictions must apply.
The Comparison Rate must still be available at the time Customer Care validates the claim.
The rates will be compared net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate; however, if the Radissonhotels.com rate has taxes included, we will verify that the total cost of your Comparison Rate is lower so that prices are compared on a relative basis. Rate disparities solely attributable to rounding, fluctuations and/or difference in currency exchange rates are excluded from the Best Rates Guarantee. Claims will be denied when the difference between the Comparison Rate and the rate on Radissonhotels.com is less than 1USD, 1EUR or 1GBP or equivalent in the local currency of the hotel.
When a claim covers a stay for multiple, consecutive nights, the rates will be reviewed based on the average over the entire stay (the total consecutive nights stayed by the same guest or guests in the same hotel, regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs or separate reservations). Comparison Rates applicable to only a portion of the reservation will not be honored.

Customer Care will verify the rate meets all of these Best Rates Guarantee terms and conditions and contact you via email. Once confirmed, we will match the lower rate and discount that rate by an additional 25%. For prepaid bookings, the difference will be refunded on the applicable credit card by the hotel. You may only submit one claim for each stay.
If a new reservation confirmation number is provided for the new rate, it must be presented at the hotel at the time of check-in.
The Best Rates Guarantee is void where prohibited by law.

We retain the sole right to determine the validity of any claim, whether a rate qualifies as a Comparison Rate, and whether a claim has satisfied the terms and conditions stated herein.
